Jeep continues its aggressive release schedule with the reveal of the 2026 Wrangler Rockslide, the fifth installment in the brand’s “Twelve 4 Twelve” special-edition campaign.
Featuring a distinct blue-on-blue aesthetic and returning off-road hardware for the Sahara trim, the package will also extend to the Gladiator pickup when orders open this April.
A New Aesthetic for the Iconic Wrangler
The “Twelve 4 Twelve” program, which promises a new special-edition Wrangler reveal every month for a year, has kept the spotlight firmly on the Toledo-based brand. The latest entry, the Wrangler Rockslide, pivots away from aggressive blacks and reds to embrace a cooler, heritage-inspired palette.

According to the manufacturer’s announcement, the exterior styling focuses on contrast. The grille surround and roof are finished in a hue known as “Anvil,” while the body is accented with “Blue Agave” stripes and a mountain graphic along the profile. Enthusiasts will also notice the vintage “4 Wheel Drive” decal on the rear fascia, a nod to Jeep’s utilitarian history.
However, the most striking changes are found inside the cabin. Jeep’s Rockslide edition features an Indigo Blue instrument panel surround and center console. The seats are upholstered in “Jean Blue” cloth, accented by silver stitching—a design choice that sets this model apart from the standard lineup.
Functional Upgrades and Trim Availability
While the Rockslide is primarily an appearance package, it does bring notable hardware changes to specific trims. The edition is available on the Wrangler Sahara and Rubicon models.
Significantly, the package equips the Sahara trim with steel rock rails. This marks the first time since 2017 that factory steel rails have been offered on the Sahara.
Standard equipment for the Wrangler Rockslide models includes:
- Gorilla Glass windshield for added durability.
- LED automatic headlights.
- Heated power mirrors.
- Adaptive cruise control.

Buyers have the freedom to pair the Rockslide package with any exterior paint color, though the unique blue accents suggest that cooler tones or neutrals may provide the best visual balance.
The Gladiator Joins the Lineup
Though technically outside the branding of the “Twelve 4 Twelve” Wrangler program, Jeep is extending the Rockslide treatment to its midsize truck. The Jeep Gladiator will offer the Rockslide edition on the Rubicon and Mojave trims, ensuring that the brand’s pickup demographic isn’t left out of the customization options.
Pricing and Release Date
In a market where special editions often command high premiums, the Wrangler Rockslide package is positioned as an accessible upgrade. Jeep has priced the package at an MSRP of $695, applicable across all eligible Wrangler and Gladiator trims.
Is the Rockslide Worth It?
The 2026 Wrangler Rockslide offers a high-value proposition for buyers looking for a unique aesthetic without a massive price hike. By combining the nostalgia of Jean Blue seats with the practical addition of steel rock rails on the Sahara, Jeep is effectively leveraging its heritage to maintain consumer interest in a competitive off-road market.
