At the 2025 SEMA Show, Mopar made a bold statement by resurrecting a piece of automotive history with the unveiling of the Ram 1500 ‘The Dude’ Concept. This custom-built pickup pays homage to the 1970s Dodge Dude sport trim package, blending retro aesthetics with modern performance.

Built upon the Ram 1500 Big Horn, this concept showcases Mopar’s commitment to honoring its heritage while pushing the boundaries of design and engineering.

Ram 1500 ‘The Dude’: A Nod to the Past with Modern Flair

The Ram 1500 ‘The Dude’ Concept starts with a 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn, featuring a striking Sublime Green exterior reminiscent of the original Dude package. Contrasting satin black C-stripes run the full length of the truck, complemented by blacked-out elements including the grille, roof, mirrors, and tailgate.

The lowered suspension and satin black 22×10-inch wheels give the truck a street-ready stance, while the dual side-exit exhausts positioned ahead of the rear wheels emit a tone befitting the HEMI badge.

Inside, the theme continues with Alea leather seats featuring bright green stitching against darker trim pieces. A unique instrument panel badge with ‘The Dude’ logo adds a nostalgic touch, while Mopar accessories such as an in-console safe, all-weather mats, and a multi-accessory rail underline its everyday practicality.

Powered by HEMI Heritage

Under the hood, ‘The Dude’ stays true to Ram’s performance roots with a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine producing 395 horsepower. A Mopar cold-air intake enhances engine responsiveness, rounding out a package that emphasizes presence and personality over sheer horsepower figures.

This powertrain not only delivers impressive performance but also pays tribute to the HEMI heritage that has been a cornerstone of Mopar’s identity.

Mopar’s Return to Street Truck Roots

The introduction of ‘The Dude’ Concept marks Mopar’s return to its street truck roots, showcasing a blend of aggressive design, signature Mopar details, and unmistakable V8 performance. This concept serves as a testament to Mopar’s ability to honor its rich history while embracing contemporary truck culture.

The Ram 1500 Big Horn, as the foundation for this build, provides a versatile platform that bridges the gap between classic styling and modern capabilities.

Mopar Accessories Enhance Everyday Practicality

Beyond its striking appearance and powerful performance, ‘The Dude’ Concept is equipped with a range of Mopar accessories that enhance its everyday practicality.
